Exinda Networks Appoints Two New Vice Presidents

<p>Exinda to Grow Channel Partner Program and
Focus Marketing Efforts on North American Market</p>
<p>October 31, 2005_Seattle, WA:_Exinda Networks, developer of leading edge network appliances that maximize network performance, has announced the addition of two new executives.</p>
<p>Neil McIrvin has been appointed to vice president of channels for North America and Frank Maly has been appointed to vice president of marketing. McIrvin will be responsible for growing and managing relationships with channel partners in North America. Maly will be responsible for planning and executing Exinda’s global marketing strategy.</p>
<p>“McIrvin and Maly provide the perfect complement to the Exinda executive team,” said Anthony Bodin, Exinda’s executive director. “McIrvin has demonstrated great success in establishing strategic relationships for profitable growth at his former companies. Maly will bring focus to our global marketing programs and communicate the value of the Exinda brand. Together, they will focus on market opportunities in North America.”</p>
<p>McIrvin brings over 15 years of experience in information technology solutions and services. As vice president and general manager at N2H2, a Web-filtering software company, he launched the enterprise business unit and established profitable, strategic relationships with Microsoft and the U.S. federal government.</p>
<p>Most recently, McIrvin served as vice president of business development for WebSpy, Inc. McIrvin holds a Bachelor of Science in both management and marketing from the University of Oregon.</p>

<p>Maly has 20 years experience in the networking industry, the majority of which was spent at Cisco Systems.</p>
<p>Maly was instrumental in Cisco’s leadership in systems network architecture (SNA) internetworking that connects mainframe computers to modern Internet protocol (IP) networks. Maly holds a U.S. patent relating to network correlation and traffic management. Maly holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.</p>

<p>According to IDC, the WAN optimization market was $255 million (US dollars) in 2004 and is growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.5 percent.
