"I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it."

<p>MELBOURNE – 26 October 2005 – destra Music, part of destra Corporation Limited (ASX: DES) (destra), has reduced the price of all of its digital downloads to 89 cents per track - making these Australia’s most affordable downloads - until the end of November 2005.
destra Music is Australia’s #1 Digital Music Service Provider (MSP) Network, with over 550,000 tracks including SonyBMG which includes artists such as Pete Murray, Rogue Traders and Australian Idol artists Anthony Callea and Shannon Noll.
The Company added that Australia’s largest independent website MP3.com.au, also owned by destra, with over one million downloads and streams per month, is benefiting from consumers’ adoption of iPod devices.
“Since marketing to Apple iPod owners that free legal music is available on our MP3.com.au website, the download rush has overwhelmed us. Our advertisers love it and the advertising revenue we generate goes straight to our bottom line,” Domenic Carosa, destra’s CEO, said. “Whether consumers purchase music from a destra Music partner site or download free music from MP3.com.au, destra leads the market and delivers more to consumers.”
destra has recently entered the mobile ring tone market through its partnership with Legion Interactive (wholly owned subsidiary of The Photon Group – ASX:PGA), Australia’s leading provider of interactive communication services, to provide mobile ringtones and album covers (known as wallpapers) in conjunction with destra Music’s online music catalogue. “We are also gearing up for 3G mobile music download services with a number of major deals imminent.” said Carosa. Statistics show that the ring tone market is now larger than the CD singles market in Australia.
The Company also announced last month that it had licenced the ROO Group’s (NASDAQ OTC BB:ROOG.OB) video library of over 5,000 video titles including music video clips from major record labels as well as Undercover Music interviews with leading artists including Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), The Eagles, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and James Blunt. Video clips will initially be streamed via the internet and shortly via 3G services in Australia.
destraMusic.com offers online digital music through its online retail partners – Chaos Music, JB HI-FI, ABC, Leading edge, Harvey Norman and many more. The music is in the Windows Media Player format and has built in technology for customers to copy the songs onto a CD three times, as well as to a portable media player, but will not allow the tracks to be transferred to pirate websites.
