The converter allows for either IDE or SATA hard disks or one of each to be in operation at the same time. Consumers will no longer need to install their hard disk into their PC case or into an external enclosure, ever. It will be truly plug and play.</p>
<p>This converter can also support CD/DVD burners. It is an excellent diagnostic tool for PC technicians or PC hobbyists. The converter can also be used as a quick and easy backup tool.</p>
