Most popular smartphones: January 2012

The most popular smartphones on our site leading up to January 2012.

PC World's most popular smartphones are a rank of the top 10 phones based on site traffic leading up to January 2012.

The first list of 2012 sees a shift in popularity: Samsung's Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Note dominate the list, a stark contrast to previous months where the most popular smartphones were low priced budget handsets.

The Huawei duo of the Sonic and the IDEOS X3, along with the Samsung Galaxy Ace are the only three "budget" smartphones to feature in our January list. Interestingly, Nokia's N9 is the only non-Android phone to make the cut.
