Powerful compact variants of Sony smartphones have garnered general acclaim. Is there room in the tablet space for a powerful tablet modelling the Compact form?
When the original 7D was released five years ago, the message was strong that this was a camera for a photographer (or indeed an adventurer) who wanted fast frame rates at an acceptable price point. With the EOS 7D Mark II, that message is now even s...
Kobo’s Aura H2O is the world’s first waterproof eReader, but what sacrifices, if any, has Kobo made for its latest eReader to pack tough certification?
The good folks at Worx want to put an end to the chore of mowing lawns with the release of an autonomous mower called the Worx Landroid. It uses a sensory system not unlike those found in robotic vacuum cleaners, although implanting the same tech int...
The dual-screen YotaPhone 2 is a much-improved version of its predecessor, and the electronic paper display is far from a gimmick. But the high price tag makes actually buying one a little nutty.
It's not an expensive laptop, and it's not a boring one either. HP's Stream 11 (named so because of its 11in screen size) has jumped into the laptop scene with splash of colour and an overall list of features that make it a nice pick-up if you're a s...
Plenty of hatchbacks prance around wanting to be as roomy as a sedan. The secret behind the Audi S3 is that it is a full sized sedan, comfortably seating five and powered by a no-nonsense engine, only it models a convenient ‘sportsback’ for a boot.

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.
For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.
The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.
My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
