Sporting a slick new design, HP's Compaq Presario B1200 is a stylish and slim device. While it doesn't pack in the most powerful components in the world it does the job, and the new aesthetic will appeal to users looking for something a little more s...
If you're looking for an inexpensive motherboard that can handle Intel's latest CPUs (even ones with a 1333MHz front side bus), Gigabyte's GA-P31-DS3L is a good choice.
With all the hullabaloo surrounding high-definition video, it's easy to overlook the abundance of 'regular' Mini DV cameras still on the market - many of which remain perfectly adequate for today's consumer. While they are unable to capture video at ...
With a typical gaming look to it, the Pacstar Game Hunter PC brings the promise of gaming enjoyment at a very reasonable price. With this system you get a heap of connectivity, upgradeability and plenty of power to play your heart out with.
It was just a few short years ago that a 19in LCD monitor would set you back $500 or more. These days however large, widescreen displays are a dime a dozen and AOC's 212VA is a prime example of this. Offering 22in of screen space with a sub $450 pric...
I close my eyes and kill the sun as the tall grass catches the wind and wraps around my shoulders. I lie back on the hill and watch the clouds chase the western edge of the sky that stretches out past the port city of Ritardando. In the distance, a p...
In terms of gameplay, skate isn't exactly revolutionary. In fact, the premise is pretty generic as you play a no-name skater who starts at the bottom and works his way to the top. You travel around a map to hot spots and complete a variety of objec...
Dell's Color Laser Printer 1320c offers surprisingly good colour quality for a low acquisition price. Its toner is expensive, however, and its control panel is confusing.
D-Link's DSM-320RD is a relatively simple mid-range media streamer. With the ability to connect to both wired and wireless networks, it doesn't boast an extensive list of features or supported file types, but it handles its core tasks well enough. In...
The Viewsonic PJ760 is an LCD projector and jack of all trades. It is considered a business projector due to its 4:3 aspect ratio, but the wide range of AV ports makes it robust enough for video projection too. Unfortunately, with all this potential...

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.
For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.
My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
