Juniper Although the company has been under pressure over the past couple of years, Juniper is still one of the biggest players in the enterprise networking industry, trailing only Cisco and Brocade on a recent Infonetics report card. The release last month of a new line of switches designed for use with the company’s new MetaFabric SDN framework makes Juniper more technologically competitive than ever, and it has remained among the top non-Cisco companies in both the enterprise and carrier switch marketplaces even through the lean times. New CEO and Verizon veteran Shaygan Kheradpir is expected to help grow the company’s core service provider routing business.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
