Here's a look at what's available and what's in the works

Google xWatch: From Eyes to Hands? In June, The Wall Street Journal reported that Google is moving "aggressively" to incorporate the next big Android version (Key Lime Pie) into all sorts of devices, from laptops to refrigerators. With Key Lime Pie, Google is also giving manufacturers such as Samsung greater freedom to build Android into gadgets other than tablets and smartphones.

The Journal also noted that Google is planning its own Android smartwatch. Some believe Google's device will be the xWatch and will be part of the Motorola product line. While there's been plenty written about the upcoming Google Glass eyewear—including its vulnerability to Wi-Fi attacks—details about Google's watch are scare right now.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
