In Pictures: Who are tech’s highest paid CEOs?

Oracle’s Larry Ellison finally ousted from the top spot on our list of highest paid tech execs. We count them down from 50 to 1. (All figures in $US)

Paul Sagan, Akamai CEO and president

Sagan just about doubled his pay package last year, netting $11.9 million in 2011 compared to $6 million in 2010. His compensation included a $756,843 salary, $119,988 bonus, and equity awards valued at $11 million. As a company, Akamai grew revenue by 13% in 2011 (from $1 billion to $1.2 billion), while net income climbed 18% (from $171 million to $201 million).
