Telstra is today celebrating 25 years since it launched Australia's first hand-held mobile phone, the Walkabout TM. We take a trip down memory lane to celebrate the milestone!

The Walkabout TM, famously nicknamed "The brick" was manufactured by Mitsubishi and was Australia's first hand-held mobile phone. It was one of three phones in the 'Explorer' range that launched on the steps of the Sydney Opera House.
