IN PICTURES: Éowyn launches PlayStation 3 Mubi service

Lord Of the Rings (LOTR) actress, Miranda Otto, brought the star power to the launch of the indie, international and classic film delivery service.

Sony kicked off the local availability of Mubi, an independent, international and classic movies delivery service at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney.

The event was attended by Lord of the Rings actress, Miranda Otto, Australian director and Tropfest 2010 winner, Abe Forsyth, Mubi founder, Efe Cakerel and Sony Computer Entertainment managing drector, Michael Ephraim.

Comedian, Tom Gleeson, hosted the event.

Members of the media were also invited to the Mubi launch event.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
