Bebo social network

Bebo is no Facebook, or MySpace or Twitter or… And two years after spending $850 million to buy Bebo, AOL has acknowledged as much, saying it will either shut down the site or sell it in the face of strong social network industry competition. An AOL exec issued the following memo: "Bebo, unfortunately, is a business that has been declining and, as a result, would require significant investment in order to compete in the competitive social networking space. AOL is not in a position at this time to further fund and support Bebo in pursuing a turnaround in social networking."
