In the air cooling competition, contestants used the following components:
  • Intel Core i7 X980 CPU
  • GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard
  • Gigabyte graphics card
  • WD VelociRaptor hard drive
  • Corsair memory


Competitors were tested on the wPrime 32M and SuperPi 32M benchmarks.
