In the air cooling competition, contestants used the following components:

Intel Core i7 X980 CPU
GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard
Gigabyte graphics card
WD VelociRaptor hard drive
Corsair memory

Competitors were tested on the wPrime 32M and SuperPi 32M benchmarks.
