Vendors come out in force to support Intel's Core CPU launch

More than a dozen vendors showcased their latest notebooks and PCs at Sydney's Ivy Room

The HP Touchsmart TM2 is a tablet-convertible notebook with plenty of style. It has a 12.1in screen and an ATI graphics card, but it's not available with a Core i3 or Core i5 CPU just yet. Because it's a small unit, it needs a low-voltage CPU; HP has used a Core 2 Duo SU7300 in this model.
