Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT1 tough digital camera

Price: $434 (Save: $265)

The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT1 continues to drop in price despite being a drop-proof camera! Terrible puns aside, we think there is no better compact camera for the Christmas holidays then the toughened DMC-FT1. With all the hot weather we'll be getting this summer, it will be the perfect gadget to take with you to the beach or to use by the pool side, without worrying about damaging it with water. In fact, you can take photos underwater, and then throw it to your friends so they can do the same. Digital Camera Warehouse is selling the LUMIX FT1 for $434, a saving of $265 off the original retail price.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
