In pictures: Gateway's fashion-forward notebooks

We take a look at the new Gateway notebooks, which will hit Australia on 15 August

ID Series

By far the most fashionable range out of Gateway's new offerings, the ID Series of notebooks takes clear aim at the likes of Dell's Adamo and Apple's Macbook Air. Taking a page from the likes of ASUS, Acer has contracted automobile design firm Pininfarina to design its ID Series. As a result, this laptop is gorgeous, thin and still packs a punch. Though you won't get full power from the $1999 base model, the top-of-the-range version has a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, along with 4GB of DDR3 memory and NVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics.
