. Apple has announced the launch of the iPhone 3G S — the third iPhone to be released since the first model hit the US and other selected markets back in 2007.

The iPhone 3G S is a slight upgrade to the iPhone 3G, with Apple claiming the S "stands for speed". Physically, the iPhone 3G S retains an identical look and feel to the iPhone 3G, and there will once again be black and white models.
