Lounge Lizard Ladies: the women of Leisure Suit Larry

An exhaustive gallery of Leisure Suit Larry’s bevy of bodacious beauties: from 1987 to the present.

For a character that has been variously described as a ‘dork’, ‘nerd’ and ‘loser’, Larry Laffer sure does seem to get a lot of action from the ladeez. The balding slacker’s smutty exploits in the pursuit of lust and lurve have landed him in all manner of sticky situations (with ‘sticky’ being the operative word).

Despite being derided as the original '40-year old virgin', the titular tit-man actually popped his cherry at the end of the first game, way back in 1987. Since then, he has ended up in the arms of at least one pneumatic beauty at the climax of every sequel — not bad for a pot-bellied lothario with a receding hairline.

To celebrate the impending release of Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, we take a look at some of the pixelated harlots that our lovable loser has dallied with over the years. As the following gallery illustrates, the women in Larry's life have gone from ultra cartoony to racily realistic, before merging into an unusual combination of both. This probably goes to show something, although we're not exactly sure what.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
