EA unleashes new Need for Speed game
EA says it has learned from its past mistakes — the biggest and most recent being the widely panned Need for Speed: ProStreet — but players will head back to the track in the recently announced addition to the Need for Speed franchise. Need for Speed: Shift targets hardcore gamers, with the promise of overhauled visuals and physics affecting everything from normal racing to crash dynamics. The game is scheduled for a spring release this year, and will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
