"The Mullet" introduced in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

From Metal Gear Solid to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, you won't notice a vast difference in the evolution of the series' raspy-voiced protagonist. A little more stubble here, a few more creases on the skin there, but wait.

Upon closer inspection you'll notice that the only real change made to Solid Snake in MGS2 is that he now donned the dreaded mullet. And while Snake's Alabama rat's nest isn't as defined as, say that of Billy Ray Cyrus', it's still scary enough to see him with this attached to his head. To quote the late musician Wesley Willis: cut the mullet!
