Nokia's new business-oriented phones take on the B...
Nokia recently announced two additions to its business-focused E phone series market, the E71 and E66. The E71 is clearly designed to compete with Research in Motion’s Blackberry range, offering users a full QWERTY keyboard to enable easy e-mailing. The E71 is the world’s thinnest QWERTY device, designed for one and two-handed use, with carefully engineered ergonomics to make extended use less painful. Encased in stainless steel and built on the Symbian S60 platform, the E71 supports Microsoft Exchange, allowing businesses to set up and maintain a push e-mail server for businesspeople on the go. The new device is also compatible with Microsoft Office and PDF document files. Assisted GPS (A-GPS) and HSDPA speeds are additional features.
