Dead Rising 2: Case Zero was one of 2010's unlikeliest success stories. What many originally perceived to be nothing more than a glorified demo ended up becoming a sales juggernaut that cunningly served as a selling tool for the retail version of Dea...
In this age, a novel twist on a traditional genre is the perfect way to make a game stand out from its prole brethren. Our highly evolved tastes don't just want Mario to chase after the Princess anymore. We want Mario to chase after the Princess... i...
When games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, GoldenEye 007, and Batman: Arkham Asylum come out to great critical acclaim, I'm almost always hit with a twinge of jealousy.
At first glance, Raskulls seems like the type of game your little brother or sister should be playing. It stars colorful, pint-sized characters that would look more at home in an episode of Muppet Babies than a video game. But don't let its adorable ...
Vietnam is an appetising expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 veterans. The prospect of numerous new weapons, maps, vehicles, and a brand new era creates an exciting opportunity to see and try new things online. It's a compact return to the serie...
Remember the breathless thrill of discovering a new playground when you were a little kid? It didn't matter how many slides you'd zipped down or merry-go-rounds you'd dizzied yourself on, because the fresh arrangement of old favourites made every mom...
It only took a year, but Magic: The Gathering -- Duels of the Planeswalkers -- one of the most consistently popular Xbox Live online games -- has come to the PlayStation Network. For those without an Xbox, it's a must-have.
Every now and then we get a product in our test lab that attracts a gathering of jaw dropped onlookers. Parrot's AR.Drone -- described as a "flying video game" -- is one such product. The AR.Drone is a flying "quadricopter" that is controlled via an ...
The original Super Mario Bros. came out just over 25 years ago on the Nintendo Entertainment System. While many believe that that game and many of its follow-ups were timeless in their original incarnations, it took Nintendo less than eight years to ...
Robots and mechs are cool. It’s a fact of life that saw the rise of Transformers, and is so ingrained in our culture that even a Michael Bay/Megan Fox tag team failed to kill our fascination with big metal things ripping into each other.
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn picks up 30 years after Golden Sun: The Lost Age left off on the Game Boy Advance, casting you as the children of the previous game's main characters. The land of Weyard is having terrible growing pains after receiving a world-s...
If there’s one thing the Wii does well (or, at least, does a lot of), it’s mini-game collections. Whether it’s Mario and the gang running around a board in Mario Party, Wario getting crazy in Warioware, or the unadulterated quality of Medieval Games,...
With the golden ages of both traditional comic books and pinball machines behind us, the superhero-filled Marvel Pinball expansion for Pinball FX 2 is a welcomed alliance.
Some games are unintentionally goofy, and some, like Kung-Fu Live, intentionally cultivate the goof. There's more in the way of geek-ified, off-the-wall humour in this game than you'd see in five years of going to PAX. From its 1970's chop-socky comi...
Full disclaimer in advance: I have a soft spot for Super Mario All Stars. As a youngster, the Nintendo SNES was my first console, and All Stars, bundled in the box, was the first video game I ever owned.

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.
For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.
The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.
My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
