From smartphones that are available right now, like Samsung's Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note, the HTC One X and 4G-capable One XL, to the upcoming Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Windows Phone 8X and Samsung Galaxy Note II, there has never been a better time to dive into the smartphone market.
Here's the best alternatives to the Apple iPhone 5.

The Sony Xperia TX has an excellent display, some nice UI features and a distinctive arc-style design. However, it offers little that we haven't already seen on rival devices, making it a good smartphone that lacks any real wow factor. Given this is supposed to be James Bond's smartphone, it also feels a little cheap.

Um.... whats wrong with a 2100mAh battery ? Also the removable battery and microSD card are definitely "must haves" and are one of the main deal breakers for me as I would otherwise have chosen the HTC One XL instead. If HTC can get a 4G phone like the One XL on the market before Christmas with removable battery and microSD card then I will buy it otherwise the Samsung is the phone to have. Have a HTC Desire and very happy with it so I would prefer the HTC Sense interface that's all.
