If you're admiring your [[artnid:375056|shiny new 3D TV]] but don't have any tri-dimensional content to play on it, we'd strongly suggest picking up a 3D Blu-ray player and some 3D Blu-ray movies. Each major manufacturer — we're talking [[artnid:376556|LG]], [[artnid:374784|Sony]], [[xref:http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/section/tvs/products/?brand=1295352184|Panasonic]], and [[xref:http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/section/tvs/products/?brand=1184661248|Samsung]] — has at least one 3D Blu-ray player.

The LG HR558D combines a 250GB PVR, a 3D Blu-ray player, a set-top box with twin HD TV tuners and a media streamer: all of which performed well in our tests. If you own a 3D TV, the ability to record 3D broadcasts will be especially prized.
