Best business notebooks
- — 04 November, 2010 14:11
These days it's hard to distinguish between a business notebook and a laptop designed for the average consumer. Both types of notebooks have similar performance and features, but the difference is that business notebooks generally have more management software, better security options and are more solidly built because they are most likely to be used on the road.
In this round-up we've highlighted a variety of business notebooks from Acer, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba. You will find large, desktop-replacement style notebooks such as the Dell Vostro 3700, and even a netbook such as the Sony VAIO X Series, which is favoured by travelling executives. All up, we believe there's something for every type of business user.

While the Sony VAIO X Series (VPCX113KGB) might not be all that fast, it's very light and strong. It's perfect if you want a laptop that won't be a burden to carry around with you and it'll definitely get people's attention. It has a few drawbacks, such as sluggish performance and a uncomfortable touchpad. Considering the small size of the notebook and the basic tasks it's intended for, these flaws can be overlooked.
