Best Garmin GPS units

US company Garmin may not have as big a presence in Australia as it does in many European markets, but its range of portable in-car GPS units are some of the most impressive on offer. Garmin also has a huge presence in marine and handheld GPS units; the latter targeted at recreational and professional bike riders, walkers, runners, and hikers; while its Zumo range caters for motorcyclists.
Garmin's GPS units are easily recognisable by a very simple but ultimately effective user interface. The company is also responsible for producing the nuvi 3790T — a GPS we consider to sexiest, sleekest and best looking we've ever seen.

Garmin's nuvi 1450T continues the fine form of the nuvi range. The extra real estate offered by the 5in screen is well utilised, making this yet another excellent GPS unit from Garmin. Highly recommended.
