Even though your dad's cool factor is probably well past its use-by-date, there is no reason why he shouldn't be keeping up with the latest technology. If your dad is stuck in a time warp and still uses a trusty old Nokia 5110, why not give him with one of the latest mobile phones this Father's Day?
Most Aussie dads probably don't want a phone with fancy colours or pink, diamond-encrusted cases, nor are they likely to want a tiny phone that will probably be too small for them to use comfortably. With this in mind, we've rounded up the best mobile phones for your dad this Father's Day — from budget and prepaid offerings, to the latest Internet-capable smartphones with big touchscreens. You'll be sure to find something for every dad out there!

The Samsung Galaxy S possesses the best display we've seen on a smartphone (though we're yet to review the iPhone 4). However, this Android handset is let down by a few niggling annoyances, particularly the all-plastic build and the TouchWIZ UI, which that lacks the polish this premium smartphone deserves. The Galaxy S is a great smartphone, but it sits a notch below HTC's Desire.
