Stunning build great sound
Looks the same as all amps within its range .. Ie 1200 but sounds nothing like then so could be over looked as you don't see what your getting only hear it

I've had 8-9 Sony amps each one better than the last but this really is worth the strong money it commands.
I always think just because newer stuff may come along, it doesn't mean older stuff suddenly becomes rubbish. If the price is right and the condition is good I'd jump on 'em. Buying older high end kit at knock down prices is a sensible way to build a fantastic system on a relatively modest budget! The price for the 2 year sony amp 5500 are is just under £450 which puts them at the price of current entry level set ups for example and cheaper than say the same spec Pioneer Id rather have for something 2 years old but better spec'd than new, 5 stars winners but lesser spec. As long as the spec suits your requirements, what's to worry about? Newer models often incorporate features that are of little relevance to many users, simply to justify being regarded as "upgrades" over the previous range. Sure, newer models can deliver improvements in key areas of performance, but those improvements are usually incremental rather than significant.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
