I bought the sony DST-HD500 serial number 8026702 because I though it would be a good one. It isnt I have had it past its warranty but that still should not matter It freezes It doesnt work at all sometimes it turns on for a few seconds then NOTHING I am dissapointed in it, looks like I have to go & buy another set top box

Just goes to show,"expert reviews" are a snapshot only and give no hint of the trouble ahead of you longterm (or even short term in this case).Google this model and you will find a barrage of complaints and irate ex Sony customers.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
