We're yet to put the Sony BDP-S770 3D Blu-ray player through its paces in our Test Centre, but it offers an enticing array of features, including BRAVIA Internet Video.

The Sony BDP-S770 is a top-of-the-range Blu-ray player boasting 3D movie support, inbuilt Wi-Fi and internal decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

The Sony BDP-S770 is DLNA certified, allowing you to stream videos, music, pictures and other media files to your Blu-ray player through an existing home network. Like previous Sony's Blu-ray players, it features a user-friendly XrossMediaBar that makes menu selections nice and easy.

The Sony BDP-S770 comes with free access to BRAVIA Internet Video, which delivers catch-up TV along with specialist content and access to video-sharing web sites.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
