I just purchased one of these for my hubby, he's works for a construction company.

After breaking his old phone all the time, I got him a RugGear for his 34th birthday. I wish I got myself one too, because its a great phone.

The reception is very good, works better than his old phone, and has all the features he used to have such as WiFi, Bluetooth, hotspot and the loud speaker is LOUD! I was initially worried about the unit being 3G not 4G, but it turns out 4G coverage is very limited anyway so for day to day use this phone is perfect.

We've only had it a few weeks, but he's really happy...

I recently purchased one of these babies... and I am not sure I agree with your review Tony.. this phone will DEFINTIELY survive where other phones fall over, and i prefer Brawn over smarts. This device is TOUGH and definitely built for the tradie and construction worker... or for that matter anyone who is sick of breaking a mainstream device. I used a samsung in a case previously and it still broke, but the RG970 hasn't missed a beep.

ive dropped it in a few puddles getting out of me ute, i simply wiped it off and was back in business... I couldnt care less about screen resolution or Giga-shits, I want a phone that will last. Plus its got a wicked battery and lasts me several days where I used to have to charge me old samsung by smoko time.

Also cos its got dual SIM slots I can put me work SIM card and me private SIM card in the one handset so I don't have to carry two phones!

When you think about the outright cost of a Samsung S4 or Note3, the RG970 is good value for money cos I'll be buying this unit once... where I would be replacing me old samsung several times a year... so from that perspective this phones saves me money. WOuld highly recommend it.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
