- ProsLooks good
- ConsHardly works
For the past two years I had been using a Canon printer, it was cheap but it worked. I decided to upgrade to this printer so I could save money on A3 prints, probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made.
Where do I start with this printer? The wireless function was a nightmare to set up, then didnt end up working at all so half the reason I bought this printer doesnt even work.
Even when I have it plugged in it has bugs that locks it up and stops you fom using it. Last week it kept telling me it had a paper jam even though it didnt. It eventually went back to work after a while but by then I'd given up and plugged my old printer in.
The tray capacity is terrible, it seems every time I try to print something it wants more paper.
I'm not even game enough to try scanning or copying anything on it, I've had enough. If you are looking to buy an A3 printer, pay the extra and get something that works. I'll never buy another HP product after this.

- Proslooks
- Consdoes not go
Every time i switch fom photo paper to standard paper the thing just does not go,,its sensors refuse to accept the print paper i spend hours of important time trying to get it to work,,,but i found the solution put it back in the box and sent it back ....technology is to improve my business not ruin it.

- ProsLooks Great and Can print 11x17
- Consall else fails
This printer's software must have issues. The specifications sound wonderful. The touch screen and wireless were both huge sellers for me and I believed that this HP printer would surpass other HP printers I've owned. Not true. It has random errors often--won't shut down properly, scans effectively about 70% of the time, won't print every time (has a processing message on the screen that doens't go away until you physically disconnect power and reconnect to reset it). The cartridges are expensive. If I had to drop another $400 on a printer, I'd spend more on a laser that was more reliable. This printer has been very frustrating.

There is an absolute rule that you can't make printers do what they are supposed to do. Never, ever, only a complete idiot would think otherwise. Except just this once, with this new one, I think I might. I'm optimistic that HP has shipped me the only printer they've ever made that prints more than it eats. Their printers are really just big flirts. They are constantly winking at me with their pretty, bright red eyes and asking for even more expensive cartridges that don't work either.
