Dose NOT allow you to change individual colors, Very Expencive to operate!
When one color needs to be replace,all colors need to be replace, when I called brothers I was told there is nothing wrong with the machine and I am using more colors than I think I am. When I explaind I have had the smaller version of this machine and I Know what colors I go threw and that I had just changed the color carterages when it made me change them again,and I could feel the old cartrages were still full. I was told I didnt know what I was talking about and there is nothing wrong with the machine.
I do not recommend this or ANY brothers machines if this is how they treat there customers.

awesome printer. I am still using the orig carts that came with it. it does everything I need. no problems, prints everytime. scans fast, faxes great. just not too hot on the color quality side. it's great for color business documents but if you wanna print photos. get a photo printer
