This laptop isnt that good i wouldnt recommend buying it. it overheats 24/7, I have it on a hard surface and it doesnt make a diffence. Im going buy another acer laptop because they dont overheat and they are efficient.

- ProsBattery & Indicators
- ConsBlue tooth
I have purchased it in Australia. This is my second laptop. I can say this is the best value for money. I was using the DELL Inspiron 1525. I was always get irritated with the battery. but, G62 had a great experiance with battery. I can run around 4 hrs once charged. screen is awesome. Performance id good comparitive to other laptops. Indicators for every action makes easy to use (Charging / power on etc...).

- Prosnothing about this product
- Consthe warranty
I bought a G62 Laptop from HP and it is still under warranty. I am having a problem with the battery, so I called tech support. They told me the reason the battery keeps messing up is because the software is corrupted. The only problem is in oder for the problem to go away I need to pay them $169.00 even though my computer is under warranty. He told me that I didn't do anything to cause this problem but I need to pay for it. I believe they sold me a computer that they knew would eventually have a problem so that I can keep paying them money. This is a fraud. Don't buy a HP G62 because you will have the same problem.

- ProsLight & Great keyboard
- ConsShiny screen
At first I was apprehensive when getting this laptop to totally replace my 4 year old desktop, but I was pleasantly surprised it outperforms it. Not only was windows 7 good, it also came with office 2010 starter edition, which for me as a student is great. I've attached my old monitor to the vga output on the side and run duel screens, one with excel and the other firefox. I've had it now for three months and would recomend this laptop to anybody.

this is an ok laptop but i wouldn't recommend this to others if you don't have a cooling pad. i have this one and without the cooling pad it overheats and locks up due to overheat. not good. also it is very slow and does not run battlefield so good. D: on the other hand graphics are pretty good. i bought office 2010 and it runs nicely. ok laptop overall. battery is only 1 hour and 15 minutes though.
