The first rule of buying a wireless modem is knowing what to buy and stick on what you know. when i about to buy Netgear wireless router(DGND3300), i saw this black box with the name ASUS. The brand that many says it is trustworthy plus save me $30 but don't be fool by the spec and cover.
The first days seem ok well until the second day, the ADSL start to go off/on few time. The third day is the worst, my Lan 3 went dead. After first week, the ADSL went mad and give me stupid warning saying no telephone wire connected. Almost week 2, Lan 4 went dead and the ADSL almost die 5 time per day.
I even contact my ISP (singnet) and sent the technician to repair my internet problem. he check the phone line ok and even change the phone socket but in the end the same old problem.
Don't bother this modem if you can't make is cool (like air conditional) because it will get hot and i suspect or guessing the wire melt or burn out some wires, of course this is my opinion. I not sure why the Lan went dead and ADSL crazy. Those who stay Singapore or Asian countries, don't bother contact their tech center, they probably ask the shop owner that you buy for replacement!
I'm saving you guys the trouble that i been through. My almost 2 years 2Wire still not perfect but at least the Lan don't go bust and try restart itself when unable to connect to the internet.

I'd like to be able to set my ASUS-N10 router to prevent anyone access to my internet reception. I don't have an Email address yet, hope to take the time to get one soon.
