I was talked into buying this at Harvey Norman. As a consequence it's the last PC device I ever bought from them. The review is absolutely correct. The battery failed completely in just over 12 months. Have just rung Toshiba and was quoted $165.00!? minimum repair for these little doozies. Considering the poor reviews and Toshiba's failure to address a known problem, I'm thinking my Gigabeat is a bin job and I'll never buy another Toshiba product again.
