LG Optimus Spirit Android phone

For the price this is quite a good phone, easy to use and good large screen with good keyboard facility but was very disappointed with how long the battery lasts. I had fully charged it early morning and by late afternoon, it was running low which should not have happened as it is a new battery. As I was 3 hours away from home, I had to swap over to my Samsung. Does anyone know if a longer life battery can be purchased??
