- ProsSmall, plays all files
- Consslow interface
The interface is very slow on this unit. It's like the remote control doesnt work sometimes and you have to re-press the button, and then it takes a couple of seconds for thr menu to work. Apart from that i like it.

I bought this unit because I have a few rmvb files and I didn't want to have to convert them and it does play rmvb files. But, I've had a lot of trouble playing mp4 movies that play OK in media player classic. I know there are lots of variations within mp4 but the goflex doesn't give any help on what the problem is, just a circle with a cross. I thought it might be h.264 that it doesn't handle but I haven,t been able to find an mp4 format it likes and in the end I converted my mp4's to .avi format, which defeats the point of buying this buying unit to avoid converting movie files.
It,s also supposed to work with any external USB hard drive, but I couldn't get it to recognize my maxtor one touch until I reformatted it to FAT32.
Finally it is not possible to transfer files from a network PC to a hard drive connected to the goflex TV over the network. You have to physically disconnect the drive, connect it to the PC, transfer the files and reconnect it to the goflex.
I'm seriously thinking of tossing this and trying the Kaiser Baas wireless media player
