I've had two sets of these for ages. The sound quality isn't as good as my Monster Beats, but I paid 10% of the price for them. Also, I suspect that you received a bad set, or were in a bad mood, because the quality I get out of mine is fine. The range is good and the signal can be bounced round corners using mirrors etc. I use one transmitter to submit to two sets - which is great for late night movies in an apartment when we don't want to disturb the neighbours.
