- ProsTangle free
- ConsExercising with them, fitting was painful
The sound quality is great for sitting down listening to music or movies. Great that they don't get tangled very easily - major problem with iPhone earbuds. Biggest problem though for me is the performance when running. The cords are so wide that they have a lot of surface area to bump into things(themselves, each other, shirt, treadmill bar, arms, etc) and the amount of noise that it creates makes it unbearable to exercise with - had to simply take them off.
Not able to get a good fit that didn't cause me some pain at some point.

I agree to all the things the PC World reviewer said. This is a great piece in terms of performance and sound quality BUT...
the major drawback is durability. I bought my A jays 2 in january 2011. since then, i had it replaced 3 times. after a couple of months, no more sound is coming out of one of the earphones (always the one that's put on the right ear). so it goes like: bought in january, broken by march then got a brand new replacement without paying anything, the it broke in may, replaced without paying, broke in july, replaced. yes you guessed it right, the new pair that was given to me in july was broken by september. no, i didn't go back to the distributor. but I sent the earphones on its way to the trash can (even it is under 2 years warranty).
i use the earphones only when I'm at work. i do not use it when jogging. and i am not careless. in fact i have a 5 year old sony ericsson earphones that is still working perfectly.
so my advice, if you don't want a bi-monthly trip back to your local distributor, stay away, i repeat, STAY AWAY from any earphones that has "JAYS" marked on it.
