Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 camera

As a travel camera the TZ30 exceeds my need to capture such things as the Pyramids, the canals of Venice or an inquisitive monkey in a tree near the panama crossing. I can zoom into the frescos of italian buildings and go wide angle to capture a party in a small ships cabin. The essence of such a camera is to have it with you all the time and to have it start, focus and take a great opportunistic picture in less than optimal conditions. It does all of this, as long as you have it in your pocket and it does that well too !!
