Had camera for about 8 months of sporadic use. Zoom mechanism froze up while on vacation - lost use of camera for trip. Sent in for warranty repair. Camera came back working ok. After another year, same thing - frequent "zoom error" message if you try to adjust the zoom back and forth when setting a photo.
VERY disappointing in the lack of reliability. Would NOT recommend buying a higher end Fuji product - if you must buy their poorly made stuff, stick to the low end ~$60 range, so you don't feel bad at only getting a year or so out of the unit before it is junk.
