Senior Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting for Senior Network Engineers to join a multinational System Integrator to work on multiple high profile government projects.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be required to:

  • Build and test Wide Area Network (WAN), Base Area Network (BAN) and Wireless Network infrastructure before deployment to client sites
  • Develop design guidelines, test plans and templates for BAN, WAN and Wireless Networks
  • Develop security documentation such as a System Overview Document (SOD) for the deployment of new network infrastructure
  • Review and approve Detailed Technical Proposals (DTP) and Technical Implementation Instructions (TII) for changes to the Defence Information Environment (DIE)
  • Provide advice to project teams for wireless and fixed network infrastructure

The successful candidate must have:
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and/or implementation of large scale Wide, Metropolitan and Local Area Networks in a high security framework
  • Demonstrated experience in working in technical teams to deliver assigned outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in the translation of business requirements to functional performance requirements to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and delivered in-line with project expectations
  • NV2 security clearance
