With a strong project pipeline, this large local business located in the Newcastle CBD, is seeking an experienced Microsoft Report Developer to join them on a 12 month contract commencing in January with potential for further ongoing work.


Working with the Microsoft Technology stack, in particular; SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), you will be involved in the entire development lifecycle developing complex & interactive Dashboard reports for Capital Projects of this organisation.

In addition to your technical capabilities, you will be a self-starter who works well in a team environment and at times, autonomously managing your own workload. You will have exceptional communication skills as you will be required to deal with a variety of stakeholders within IT and the business to gather requirements.


    • Microsoft BI stack, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
    • Translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements
    • Experience in data visualisation, including dashboards and interactive reports.
    • Experience working with reports hosted on SharePoint 2013 including SharePoint Excel Services
    • Strong SQL skills
    • Experience with API's and data from various sources
    • Experience with PowerBI, Jasper Reports, Yellowfina and Oracle Databases is desirable.
