The PIXMA MX7600 has a focus on connectivity and good print quality. Unfortunately, some of the ease of the use that Canon is renowned for has been lost.

Wi-Fi connectivity is a bonus for small office networks, and this multifunction has some useful features that can be used without a PC. However, it suffers poor print quality and can be quite slow.

The Lexmark X9575 provides some valuable and well-implemented features. However, print speeds and quality detract from this multifunction’s overall appeal.

With a load of features, cheap consumables and an intuitive menu system, the PIXMA MP610 is possibly the best value multifunction on the market. Its print quality may have some flaws when compared to its bigger brother, the MP970, but its scanning quality and lower price tag more than make up for this.

The HP Photosmart C4280 provides home users with an affordable and convenient multifunction. While there are some minor problems with photo quality, the C4280 is an excellent choice for all-purpose printing.

Fuji Xerox's Phaser 8560MFP has a multitude of features to aid small office productivity. With the addition of a competent built-in Web server, this multifunction is a good addition to the office.

For a small office where cost effectiveness in an issue, the HP Officejet Pro L7380 provides an excellent multifunction solution. The only real problem is the lack of networking options.

Situated in the middle of Epson’s Stylus multifunction range, the CX7300 is an ideal family device in terms of quality, features and running costs. Although there are some flaws, the multifunction is an excellent device for its price.

The Dell 968w is a good machine overall. We just can't recommend it quite as highly as we would other inkjet multifunction printers that offer similar (or better) capabilities for about the same price.

The Photosmart C7280 is an excellent all-round multifunction for the home. Although we weren’t particularly impressed with its print quality, this is outweighed by a multitude of other useful features that make it a great device.

Epson’s Stylus CX5500 carries a number of flaws which will deter some buyers. However, given its low price point and cost efficiency, this multi-function will suit those in need of a budget unit with cheap running costs.
