The PIXMA MP630 is little more than a refresh of the MP610 with no changes other than slower print times. While it still has some merit, this unit isn't up to the regular Canon quality level.

Though the TX700W offers a lot of functionality and connectivity, it is ultimately let down by poor quality. This multifunction performs acceptably for a simple text printer, but there are better options in the same price range.

Though the TX800FW isn’t the best photo printer on the market, it is one of the most feature-packed and it has an unusual design. There are some minor issues but it remains a standout multifunction.

The Canon Pixma MP620 delivers a wide variety of features in a well-designed package. Its connectivity and generous paper handling make it particularly well suited for families or students.

The C6380 one-ups the C5380 in almost all respects, with its only failing being a slight decrease in photo print quality. Overall, the 6380 is a great addition to the networked home.

The Photosmart C5380 is HP’s first low-priced multifunction to provide truly competitive print quality without much being sacrificed.

The MFC-7340 has a number of flaws and missing features that make it problematic for office use. No duplex, no Ethernet and an inadequate paper output tray are its key failures, but it delivers good quality printing and it is cost efficient.

The Lexmark X9575 provides some valuable and well-implemented features. However, print speeds and quality detract from this multifunction’s overall appeal.

With a load of features, cheap consumables and an intuitive menu system, the PIXMA MP610 is possibly the best value multifunction on the market. Its print quality may have some flaws when compared to its bigger brother, the MP970, but its scanning quality and lower price tag more than make up for this.

For a small office where cost effectiveness in an issue, the HP Officejet Pro L7380 provides an excellent multifunction solution. The only real problem is the lack of networking options.

The Dell 968w is a good machine overall. We just can't recommend it quite as highly as we would other inkjet multifunction printers that offer similar (or better) capabilities for about the same price.

The latest addition to HP’s Photosmart line-up, the C6280 is a capable multi-function for families and home users. However, it has quality issues and lacks CD/DVD printing.
