If its black level wasn't set so low, we would give this monitor a higher rating as its not a bad monitor overall. But, the lack of definition in dark areas was enough to put us off.

The Samsung SyncMaster 244T offers a very nice image with some useful features, though shorter people may find the minimum height of thestand doesn't suit their needs.

The only problem with this monitor is its reflective screen, which can be a bit of a nuisance in a well-lit environment. Apart from that, its colours and luminance were exceptional in all our tests. It's well-suited to viewing and editing photos, as well as movie-watching and game-playing.

Dell's UltraSharp 2007WFP monitor is a great choice for those after an all around PC monitor for day-to-day usage.

While the technology behind the Acer AL1917L is quite impressive, the application still needs a little work. Colours are exceptional but the viewing angle and over sharpening don't do it any favours. There are better monitors on the market, but if you want to be more environmentally conscious, this monitor will do the job.

It remains to be seen if Chei Mei can sort out the image problems we observed in this engineering sample for the shipping version of this monitor. We hope it does, because its vast inputs make it a decent choice for an environment where multiple devices will be plugged in to it. We'll be updating this review (and our rating) once the shipping version becomes available to us.

With a $2899 price tag, the 3007WFP is certainly not cheap, though it does cost in the same range as other 30-inch LCDs. But if you're looking for a big display on which to spread out a few open windows, then the 3007WFP could be a good investment.

The 210V isn't the best quality screen we've seen, but it's more than suitable for everyday tasks, watching movies and playing games.

For the most part the 220WS8 monitor is quite good but when you attempt to stack it up against others on the market it simply isn't in the same league.

If you're after a stylish monitor for your home, the LS201 is ideal. Its glass screen makes it an ideal product if you have kids around, as it means the screen won't be damaged by inadvertent pokes. Our tests indicate that it's a good monitor for viewing photos, watching movies and playing games.

All up, the 190B7 produced decent image quality and is well designed for an office environment. We did notice some noise in its image reproduction, which may annoy some users.
