Whether you are in the market for a monitor or a TV Philips has this 19" combination and while the speakers aren't the best, the package is still rather good nonetheless.

A dedicated gamers dream monitor, if only it were more affordable.

This monitor is a good all-rounder. It can be used for gaming, watching movies and photo viewing. Its styling is sensible and we like the swivelling base. We do wish it had a DVI input though

The NEC MultiSync LCD90GX2 is an excellent monitor suitable for graphics intensive applications and gaming.

Despite its limitations, this monitor is compelling because it has very good contrast. We think its best use is for watching DVDs.

The N91s is a solid performer that is only let down by poorly implemented controls and slight image noise when displaying fine vertical lines. Otherwise, it’s an excellent monitor with great sharpness and no major display flaws.

This monitor produced the clearest picture in our motion blur tests and should definitely be considered if you want a large screen for games. Its colour capabilities, despite being a 6-bit panel, were also comparatively good, as was its brightness level, despite the 250cd/m² rating. We didn't like this monitor's base, but we feel it's a great unit for everyday use and for games.

This monitor didn’t fare too well in our tests for motion blurring and it also struggled slightly in the colour tests. It did have the best viewing angles in the review though, as well as the best aesthetics, but these features aren’t enough to justify its high price tag. We expected much better overall performance for this price.

BenQ's screen offers reasonable all-round performance for a moderate price. Though it's pitched at consumers, it requires a bit of tweaking to get the image perfect.

A good 19in LCD monitor for gaming and watching video. It's suitable for everyday tasks, but its colour reproduction will not be to your liking if working with images is your livelihood, or even a serious hobby.

While there's nothing shocking about this LCD, there's nothing exciting either. If you're comfortable with an average price for an average monitor you'll get by with the FP92E. If you want to use your computer for a specific task like gaming or editing, you might want to seek something a little more specialised.
