This monitor didn’t fare too well in our tests for motion blurring and it also struggled slightly in the colour tests. It did have the best viewing angles in the review though, as well as the best aesthetics, but these features aren’t enough to justify its high price tag. We expected much better overall performance for this price.

This is a brilliant display for everyday use. Although it features only an analog (VGA) input, it produces clear, sharp images.

Toshiba's 27WL55A has good image reproduction and easy configuration; it comes at a reasonable price, too.

A solid 19in monitor, the Viewsonic VX1940w performs well in some areas, such as when handling fast motion, but also has a few contrast and colour issues.

The Viewsonic VP930b delivers outstanding performance in every field. It is an exceptional product, which does exactly what it's designed to do at a professional level.

Viewsonic's VP2650wb is great value for money if you're looking for a large display. While its image is too bright at times, the overall picture quality is excellent and the price tag is extremely competitive.

Taking this screen's $499 price tag into consideration, we found it to be very good value, despite some limitations in its colour display and its very noticeable motion blurring. An excellent screen for everyday usage and even for movie watching.

In spite of its superfast response time, it's a decent but unspectacular monitor.

The ViewSonic VP2250wb has many good points, not least its top-quality colour palette. However, at this price, we expect more the viewing angle issues in particular are not impressive. It's fine if you work alone, but for bustling offices the viewing angles may prove a bar to you showing off your work in all the finery that this screen really ought to be able to deliver.

Only the most demanding and professional users will be able to fault the VP730b. Its image quality and performance recommend it as one of the best LCD Monitors we’ve reviewed.
