It provides very good colour output, has a decent pixel response time, but has slightly restrictive viewable angles. Nevertheless, if you're after a big monitor with a small price tag, this one is a good place to start.

A solid 22in display from Acer, the P223W will suit users regardless of whether they want to play games, watch films or just browse the Web.

All up, the 190B7 produced decent image quality and is well designed for an office environment. We did notice some noise in its image reproduction, which may annoy some users.

If you can live with a limited viewing angle and a relatively inflexible design, and without a lot of extra features, the Samsung SyncMaster 206BW could be a fine choice if you're looking for a medium-sized display on a small budget.

The lack of height adjustment and the glossy panel will turn some users away. These faults aside, there is a lot to like about the 2230Fm. The DMP engine isn’t great, but if you’re after an all-rounder with good image quality, this is a reasonable choice.

If its black level wasn't set so low, we would give this monitor a higher rating as its not a bad monitor overall. But, the lack of definition in dark areas was enough to put us off.
